And so your brother has never shown "good will" for the company? :|
I'm pretty sure belgian FCM/CCM show much more "good will" in general than in many airlines around us.

I guess there is a limit somewhere.

Luke777 wrote: 02 Nov 2021, 10:35 They count on "goodwill" of the staff; meaning: without any financial compensation... i wonder if these requests are originated by german managers, but they have to understand: such things do not work in Belgium.
Have you ever worked as crew member within a belgian airline?

Re: Air Belgium in 2021

That's the whole point of some failures at the airline : no partnership. HKG put apart, what other failures are you talking about? Just imagine with LOT for example : KRK-WAW-BRU-MRU, what a long journey ! TUI doesn't seem to be the ideal partner neither. I'm sorry but... what's your point here? Do...

Re: Air Belgium in 2021

I don't care neither as I'm bilingual, but it seems to be a dramatic issue for some member not to be adressed in Flemish while beeing in a Walloon airport. But when it's about OST or ANT, there no problem. I just don't like bad faith. I'm a french speaker by the way. Just saying ;) It's all about p...

Re: Air Belgium in 2021

What make you say that CRL is a "extremely low-cost" airport? Yes the cost structure is lower tjan BRU as it's a regional airport like LIL, OST, EIN, or LGG. But from the service it's providing, what make of it a, as you call "extremely low-cost airport" you have everything you ...

Quite illogic ..... well he has his word to say, but.... i still don't understand.... Why illogic? He's maybe someone who sees profit before his regional ideas..? BRU most likely attracts more people, it's easier to reach by public transport, and it's much more comfortable than the extremely low-co...

Thank you for your answers. I booked it as 1 booking on kiwi.com. As a return trip brussels - amman and amman - charleroi with a transfer in Bologna. The transfer was 'kiwi guaranteed', because the airlibe (ryanair) doesn't offer the transfer. But apparantly, the kiwi guarantee is only when you wou...

Re: Anomalies in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2021

Indeed. There isn't time so close to the runway to do this at the last minute, it was likely a planned 360, probably to ensure sufficient spacing with the aircraft ahead, landing or taking off. If it had been requested by ATC to ensure sufficient spacing, that was definitely *not* planned and could...

Re: Anomalies in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2021

Ok but normally they do a straight go around I presume. I don’t know the pax on board but they must have been frightened by the short turn. I live nearby and never saw a plane do this manoeuvre. If traffic permits, this is perfectly possible and more (fuel+time) efficient than a standard go-around....

Re: Where will you fly in 2021?

I remain very cautious in future bookings, with the rules changing almost daily due to the Delta variant and the fact that the Pfizer vaccine doesn't fully protect against it. And there are still a lot of unexpected cancellations. Really? When have the rules changed for the last time within the EU?...

PSG star team lands at Ostend-Bruges Airport for tonight’s game against Club Brugge, but was this charter necessary?

Necessary or not, thousands of flights happen every day on private jets for a single person all around the world. Those "superstars" are not any different. And they don't care at all. And if football players were there to show how to behave, I guess football wouldn't exist anymore :...
