Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

Have a look at flight radar all the flights curve ALL are wider !

It's very simple: when a long-haul flight takes off to the left, only the 787 flies over our part of the city. And I've never seen it turn more sharply, again never!

You can see it live with THAI at 13h30 and compare it to the ...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

Bullshit!!!
But before you are saying Bullshit do your research, instead of talking nonsense!

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner appears to take off slower and climb more gradually than Airbus counterparts primarily to maximize fuel efficiency, reduce engine wear (via derated thrust), and minimize noise ...

The curve after take-off??? :?: :?: :?:
Exactly, if you look closely after takeoff, Boeing 787s have a much wider turning radius than all the others and pass over a large part of the city.
Is there an intrinsic technical cause for that?
No, it's pure BS.

I agree, same for passenger comfort, very bad planes and in addition the curve after takeoff means that it flies over the centre of Brussels when turning to the left.

Positioning to LAX after sitting idle at BRU for six days.
Air freight demand traditionally peaks end of November, early December when anything and everything that can fly cargo does. From then on to Christmas, demand drops precipitously, especially from Asia to Europe and the US.

Both are since 2020 on a 12 years lease contract with Luxaviation. Are we really going to break that contract because a technical failure happened with the king and/or politicians onboard? 15 / 18 years isn't that old for a business jet.

Since these guys want to tax/fight against private jets ...

Transavia has opened bookings for Summer 2026, with the main news being the crew base.
However, no changes have been made, except the removal of Greek destinations and so far no French destinations :
Alicante (8), Malaga (8), Ibiza (5), Marrakech (5), Tenerife (5), Faro (4), Seville (3 ...

Some of you seem to think adding a wet-lease for a short period of time can happen with a simple click on a compter.

You have to think of crew rest, crew positioning, aircraft availability, EU penalties have to be paid in delays as well on top of wet-lease costs.
It simply makes no sense to ...

To fill the planes is also an issue. Look at Curacao. Air Belgium was not able to make the planes full. TUI exactly the same and this with a lot of adverts in NL. It was not working at all. For Air Belgium it was too expensive.

See now at TUI NL, 30 extra flights between December and March and ...

Re: TUI Airline in 2025

The Belgians prefer to go 3 to 4 times per year on holiday and this for a shorter time.

The amount of people who are willing to go for a much longer holiday to a far away destination is shrinking. Own airlines cannot offer this bcs too expensive. What they do is to use Emirates or others. Belgium ...

What's the solution ?
More flights out of ANR ,
All 3 Emb295 all year round !

They are too stupid for that. They like to concentrate everything is Brussels where all the competition is.

Anyway I don't think the TUI Airlines will be around much longer. I expect them to be sold to Ryanair ...

Wait until they have 10+ aircraft based in BRU. Maybe they will not create a separate AOC for that, but I am pretty sure their unions will have something to say about this.
