Re: Brucargo: cargo routes, news, Brucargo West, Diabolo.

Sorry BRU but that's not correct. Anyone can buy capacity on TNT flights. They are certainly not used exclusively for TNT express shipments, which take up only a small percentage of available volume on each flight.

Re: Brussels Airport to invest €200M, create 3,000 new jobs

I think CNC has it about right. Unless the markets generally improve a lot then the investment in
Brucargo is wasted. There is already plenty of excess capacity at Aviapartner and Flightcare/Swissport, the two handlers. What makes Brussels Airport think that cargo carriers are going to come (back ...

Re: BeOnTop Airlines - Liège Airport

If someone with more time and patience than I have would search the Belgische Staatsblad / Moniteur Belge we could perhaps find out who is behind BeOnTop. (http://www.just.fgov.be/staatsblad_help/)
Normally all companies set up in Belgium have to appear in this publication to be legal.

You can try these people but I don't have personal experience.

Otherwise look in the ads in the English language newspapers once you
get there - or at the Japanese embassy if you're not too far away.

The customers I was referring to are the air freight brokers. They provide all the business to cargo airlines. In Brucargo you have about 60, in Ostend 2. If you operate to OST and have to truck to Brussels you will pay a lot of money in trucking and handling, and lose time.
And don't think the ...

There are still noise problems at Brussels Airport, even during the day.
I don't think there is a single airline operating at Brussels Airport that hasn't had at least one PV for violating the noise limits of the Brussels region.
Operating a 747-200F from Brussels over a long sector with a ...

The price an airline pays for its fuel is a closely-guarded secret.
It's negotiated with the fuel suppliers on a basis of the amount required per month or per quarter. I guess at Brussels most airlines pay US$0.80-0.90 per U S gallon.
