Will have my first Air Baltic and my first visit of Riga (RIX) Friday (26/10), next week.
Saturday Riga - Vilnius per bus (eurolines) and Sunday back with Air Baltic to Copenhagen, and from Copenhagen with SAS to DUS.

I assume not all here will remember the little Jumbolino, but I have to admit now I would have had two trip reports worth to report it as they are not that usual, OK not that unusual, but long haul.

First was 9th of december DUS-FRA-DXB
and 13th of december DXB-FRA-DUS

André, nice to read your trip-report, here Contact Air on behalf of LH is doing LCY with an ATR and it's still on my wish list.

And, what I can read under airliners.de, times are changing.

By the way, flown them, a copuple of times, back in 2002, and I found them rather good, not to say perfect for an LCC.

Meanwhile, as an-148 explained, and to keep it short, they are simple too expensive ...

@Vinnie-Winnie: regarding your posting, that many mature members disappeared, I'm still here, but it's, meanwhile, very rare that I post something, and the reason therefore is quite simple - called "lack of time"

I enjoyed reading and too bad that SNBA doesn't server FAO anymore ;-) had last month 4 flights with TAP and believe me I don't count TAP into my prefered airline list (the food on TP for a 2.5 h flight was a joke ! on the return flight a nearly one hour delay without any excuse ...

the Swissair sotry was only because they where afraid their aircraft could be grounded in other countries because of the hughe SR debt, but Crossair never went bancrupt and I'm not sure if the Company behaind swiss int. airlines isn't still named crossair .... and as long as you have a sticker ...
