This still has to be checked but it seems the Migs are actually going to be sold by Belarus and not Russia... Get that: the last dictatorship in Europe spreading its weapon systems around the EU. Not too sure I like that... the article (in Russian) said that Belarus had offered better prices and was ...

I do have a few shots before the outbound departure, stand by, I'll try to upload them...
The LCY departure lounge is a great place to get close-ups!

Wow, I'll have to take down all the details for next time! Great reports Comet!
I do recall sitting in row 11 on the outbound flight, and I was due to sit in row 11 again on the return leg but the stewardess came up and asked if my neighbour and I didn't mind moving forward because the poor Fokker ...

First flight with VLM

Hello to all,

I thought I really had to write this as soon as I had the time to. I flew with VLM on the LCY- LPL route and had a great time. Excellent service, a really friendly crew, on-time arrivals and hand flown approaches :). Some bigger carriers should have a look at their little neighbours ...

Oooh come on VC-10, if you're talking rubbish TV you ain't seen nothing with the BBC ;) . Most of the time their programmes are really interesting and this is yet another example. After all, it was the BBC that came up with the Airshow and Reaching for the Skies wasn't it? We don't get ITV over here ...

Hi Trev,

Yup Cirrus do make great aircraft! The inside is a real GA revolution too : sidesticks, Garmin avionics and a huge MFD. Cool stuff!
My exotic GA favorite has to be the Lancair IV-P pulled along by a 350hp twin turbocharged Continental, cruises at around 300 kts.
Seaplanes? Got to be the ...

Guys, you might want to consider this:
An airliner at full cruise speed crosses Belgium in less minutes than it takes to scramble the F-16s sitting in KB or Florennes (proof : remember the Serbian bizjet crossing our airspace a few years ago? The F16s were warned by the Germans and made contact ...

Hi Ian,

Welcome to Luchtzak.
I've never flown them myself so the following lines are just "I've heard" kind of stuff.
Several of my friends fly JAL quite regularly and are generally happy with them. I think if you're out there competing with CX, QA and the like, you'd better have your service right ...

Hi everyone,

Buzz, it's the Beech Starship you're looking for. Was a stunning aircraft but, as you said, Raytheon, who now owns Beech, decided that it was cheaper to scrap all the existing aircraft rather than to continue manufacturing spare parts. Guess what... the owners of the Starships were ...

Mine was a hop from BRU to LHR on an SN flight bound for Atlanta. The aircraft was a 747 something, don't blame me for not remembering, I was very young in those days ;)

oh yes they do!!! but André's comment is spot on. Pilatus is very right too.
