Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. I guess your flight was BRU-PUJ-PUP and that the 35 minutes you mentioned was for the last leg.

My own experience to the Dominican Republic was with CityBird. Also 1000 times better than what you just described.

Why don't you send a complaint to the Tour ...

when i look at the arrivals and departures of brittania it seems they are never on shedule :?
every departure of my flights from BRU, PUJ en POP(puerto plate) was delayed :roll: seems they have a bad clock :D

PUJ-BRU with Brittania 21-22/04/04

Hi guys,

i'm back from the dominican republic!
i was hoping for a A330 from LTU but it was a 767 from brittania :(

the flight was rather poor...

after a 2 hours delay we took off to Puerta Plata (PUP i guess)
the flight would take 35 minutes, we started descending and we came in very bad weather ...

So that will be the reason that the hour of departure has changed as well...

it was 9:40 and it has been changed to 10:45 ...
damn, very bad luck, there goes my holliday :roll: :D

i see a flight that comes from the dominican replublic, and arrives at 6:50
but it's al flight BY 791, don 't know where it stands for :? but they fly with a 767 :(

BY stands for Brittania, the UK affiliate of TUI. You might indeed end up in that plane.

Hello,

Usually if you're flying coach, you'd like to request an exit row at door 3 for the added pitch... On some AC you might well end near the lavs though...
You might also have to answer some questions at check in to sit there ("are you over 15, in good condition and willing and able to operate ...

Are there any new developments in the last weeks (LTU A330 flights to the dominican republic)?
I recieved my tickets today, it's getting closer :P
someone who knows what the best seats/rows in a A330 are (on the window :D )?

When i'm back i'll post a report of my flights, it's only a charter, but ...

I'm flying to the dominican republic on the 7th of april with sunjets/jetair, so normally it will be with TUI airlines, but i see that they have only B737's. Are they planning to fuel up somewhere in the atlantic, or will we fly with an other company

Likely to be an LTU A330-200 or -300.
