In the past TG code shared with SN on BRU - BKK. And several european destinations and New York from SN
This codeshare does not seem to be there anymore.

Re: Brussels Airport (BRU) infrastructure: future
The most annoying are the elevators from the drop off zone to departures level. 3 elevators of which 2 often do not work to handle everyone with luggage... Crazy.

Re: 2020 Antwerp Airport (ANR/EBAW) latest news
Antwerp airport is an amazing airport. I loved to depart from there in the 90's with KLM. Once KLM stopped flying and you had to go by train, they lost a very frequent flyer. The train is a hassle when you travel alone with luggage. I used Antwerp airport once again 2 years ago with VLM to London Ci...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020
As much as I think that owing a blocking minority share or even the nationalisation of Brussels Airlines would be beneficial, I seriously doubt whether one of both will happen. Spohr doesn't want governments to become shareholders and LH doesn't want to give up SN to lose its control over Brussels ...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020
African destinations are part of the SN business model and help to finance the european operations as well. I understand that this is the principle of a hub-network airline. What I do not understand is why LX and OS can (could in the pre-corona era) fly to BKK for instance, and SN not, AND, at the ...

Re: Air Antwerp in 2020
If you look at the figures of Antwerp airport, I don't think they are doing bad on the London city route.
Every month the increase in passengers is announced they mention its partly because of Air Antwerp's route to London City.

Re: Brussels Airport monthly traffic figures
I read the forums alot but I dont comment much. I dont understand the negativity around BRU that you often read on this forum. I fly alot and pass through many airports and I feel BRU is one of the best. I will pay more for a ticket just to arrive in BRU instead of AMS or CDG. It is one of the smoot...

Re: BRU Winter 2020-2021: news, new routes, airlines
I believe TG does well at Brussels at the moment. Business class is almost always full. I am surprised they haven't moved to daily yet. They only recently started to Vienna and frequencies were increased there very quickly, even though Austrian also flies to Bangkok. I think SQ can hurt TG in Brusse...

Re: BRU Winter 2020-2021: news, new routes, airlines
Hopefully the return of SQ to Brussels does not hurt TG too much.
As I travel alot between Vietnam and Belgium, the return of SQ is a nice alternative to Thai and Cathay but I am not sure if three airlines serving the same area (TG, CX and SQ) is sustainable in the long run.
