Isn't that a long way to go with a leak in the engine, all the way from Iceland to Frankfurt? It's true that the A380 has four of them and can easily miss one...

Easier/faster* to bring back plane and repair in FRA.

It was a return flight the same day indeed, spend my time in the lounge to wait for my return flight to Brussels.

Whilst some would give an arm and a leg to fly business class one day, you did a return flight without any purpose.

In my mind: only if you are sure to take 30 flights or really long distances in 1 year M&M is a good choice, otherwise i'd go for loop.

Shame the M&M logic requires you to do it all in 1 year.

keep in mind that airplane design is not 2D but 3D (as it's mounted on a curving edge).
