Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
OO-SFP has a hybrid (old)LH/EW-livery, stickered?
https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/9419203
It's the new Lufthansa Group Euro White livery, a new concept André wrote about. Heavily contested by some members: https://www.aviation24.be/airlines/a-new-euro-white-livery-for-brussels-airlines ...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
According to airfleets.net SN has 16 A330's in fleet: 4 x -200 and 12 x -300's. We know that 1 x -200 (SFY) is now gone from that list. That leaves 15 A330's if the list is close to being up to date.
Isn't that much more than SN is actually flying around? How many are in maintenance or flying ...

Why not?Jetter wrote: 18 Aug 2019, 16:55
But if you want to expand in destinations/frequencies to such airports you can’t keep subcontracting. That makes sense as long as it’s a too small sub-fleet to operate yourself.
some big airlines with subcontracters:
SAS with Cityjet
Iberia with Air Nostrum
Swiss with Helvetic

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
According to the news the cabin in OO-SNN wasn’t changed from AB/HG/OE.
Like Airbuske says, these modifications are more than just the cabin.
By the way, which cabin does OO-SFB have?
I remember having read that it has the old CX-cabin, but modified with a premium economy section (with ...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
I hope this is just a temporary livery... It looks a bit empty without the extended blue tail. Could this be an indication that a new livery will be introduced soon?

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019
I don't think so. Their first matter is to make the airline more profitable. Painting aircraft is something SN just can't afford right now. Maybe in a couple of years, they will.
It is often done as part of maintenance. One level of check (C? D?) requires stripping the paint so it must be ...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019
Maybe we can also expect an new (or updated) livery? The current one doesn't meet the LH-group livery 'rules' (read: a white livery with only a coloured tail and the brandname in front).

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Also, I read somewhere that they want to have 5 planes with the new interior by August. So that would mean they have to accelerate the process a bit and have one of the next months (June or July) two planes done in one month.
I thought they said 5 planes with premium economy installed by ...
