Re: BRU Summer 2026: news, new routes, airlines

Quick update. By the end of this week, Air China will already upgrade the Beijing route from the current A332 to the A333.

They are starting at the right time; a large proportion of passengers going to Asia will still be able to transit via China instead of the Middle East to Asian ...

And it's not endless figures and analyses that you're going to look up on the Internet that are going to deflect or mask the problem.

It's statistics that will make or break your argument, rather than weekly whines. Statistics like Brussels Airlines' cancellation rate was 2.5% in 2024 ...

I see that Delta is operating a flight between Brussels and Catania today, with the 767 that came from Atlanta. Does anyone know why they are operating this flight today?
On FR24, the flight from BRU to ATL is cancelled today, could this be a ferry flight to CTA, so they can operate a scheduled ...

We can be patient. But there is nothing extraordinary about simplifying and lightening controls; it happens regularly in several countries in several places and it makes our lives easier.

I think commercially for the service at the airport, it is important we must remain competitive and not ...

SEAGLE - Belgian Canadair Replacement?

Hi all!

I was wondering if any of you have heard, and have more information about the Seagle-project.
The Seagle is an aircraft that is meant to be the replacement of the well-known Canadair firefighting planes.
It is an aircraft that will possibly built in Ostend, Belgium.
It is obvious that the ...

My best guess would be that LOT plans to use one type of the aircraft, let's say the A220 to operate from their biggest base in Warsaw, whilst the E-Jets can be stationed in the other bases, like Budapest for example, thus operating both fleets next to each other. This would of course mean a big ...
