Re: A new spotting location at BRU ?

refugee center 127 (located at the airport itselfs in melsbroek) will close, but the center 127bis will remain active. The new center is just to make one bigger refugee center in stead of 3 different ones. So normally the spotting place at the 127bis will stay as well

quote from the article about Guy Daems (my adaptation), and in Dutch : "In Zaventem zie je weinig grote witte vliegtuigen , de cargo’s even niet meegerekend. Amsterdam daarentegen is fantastisch. Daar zijn heel wat white bodies ." The journalist definitely doesn't know much about aviation...

BRU - FAO 16/07/2007

Hello, i'm flying on monday 16th of Juli with Brussels Airlines to Faro and coming back on the 26th.

16/07/2007 SN 3805 17u50 BRU-FAO
26/07/2007 SN 3806 FAO-BRU 00u15

Maybe someone knows already which aircraft it will be or the registration? (normally a ex-VEX 737)
Thanks

its a part of a 'new' 777 (i have my doubts if it will be a new one, as there is no front door and a part of the fuselage missing but its certainly a 777 , just look at the slope behind the cockpit windows tot the top of the airframe  as its not yet an aircraft.

That was probably A DC10 of Biman Bangladesh. Delta Airlines and Hewa Bora used to fly to BRU with Lockheed Tristars. Cheers mates, Stij Delta Air Lines also flew the MD-11 in BRU ! Delta used to use the TriStar for a decade at Brussels before they where replaced with MD11 and 767
