Re: Emirates 777-300 crash-landing at DXB
Regarding the evacuation, I don't think that cabin crew did everything perfectly. 1. I don't hear any megaphones. Once an aircraft has clearly crashed unexpectedly, cabin crews shoud be shouting instructions through megaphones. I can only hear them shouting by the doors, but deeper in the cabin the...

Re: Reopening Brussels Airport after the 22/03/2016 terror attacks
@Flanker2 There is just no point in keeping these checks up, it's just ridiculous... You don't go trough a check to enter a shopping mall, cinema, train station,... either, do you? While essentially those places could be a target too with an equal amount of victims if they were to attack it. So why ...

Re: Reopening Brussels Airport after the 22/03/2016 terror attacks
This is outrageous! They just can't keep on checking like that? who does it anyway? they don't even do it in the US or TLV! For my personal travel it's now waaaay more convenient to go to AMS,DUS,EIN,... rather than BRU with this at least 4h in advance rule and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one ...

Re: Lufthansa to decide on 27 April whether to take over all of Brussels Airlines
I'm pretty sure that the name Brussels will be maintained in one or another way. Either as Brussels Wings or/and as Brussels Airlines, with possibly a distinction between long haul and European flights. The Germans may be rational, but they are not stupid : if they see that there is a sentimental v...

Re: Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium in 2016
If the plan is indeed to sell the aircraft to other airlines, I guess the 5 A320 of HQ will go to SN, what a shame they don't have any A321, It would have been a good opportunity to intrude it into the Brussels Airlines fleet. If LH would indeed take over HQ I don't see why they would sell those 32...

Re: Reopening Brussels Airport after the 22/03/2016 terror attacks
They have 3000 people on staff, many of whom were staying home doing nothing. This manpower could have been used to erect temporary facilities. This piece what you write there Flanker really angers me, ... The people who are at home doing nothing according to you are there because they are recoveri...

Re: Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium in 2016
With which aircraft, they only have 5 for the moment. There are 2 things they can do ... or they can take on an additional aircraft (which I don't see happening if I have to be honest) or what is most likely is that they let SN operate additional HQ flights and use the A/C that's free for the AMS o...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
What does flying around in SQ config mean for the IFE, can they just replace it with SN's or do they just shut it down for now? The IFE is a totally different system as SN's so having to really make that into SN IFE would be a huge pain for these few months that it is on there. That's why for the t...

First flight of OO-SFX Is OO-SFX configured with the same seats in Business and Eco as the other A333's? Before its first flight, there were rumours that SN would introduce an "Economy Plus" class. Is this correct or not? Regards, Duke OO-SFX currently flies in the configuration of it's p...

Re: Lufthansa to decide on 27 April whether to take over all of Brussels Airlines
I'm personally not really against the take over of LH, they have been a reliable partner for years and have opened doors for SN to develop which would further be enhanced in the future (think of perhaps new planes,...) . At this time I don't really see any indications as to LH going to change SN int...
