Just found out the the second A320 is also from Air Malta, this time a dry lease for 6 months. It is 9H-AER which was previously operating out of their Birmingham base, which has closed for the winter. It left UK to be sprayed at Chateauroix today.

9H-ADY was handed over ex-Air Malta to the Leasing Company last weekend and is being sprayed in Southend this week.

Does anyone know where the other A320 is being sourced from next month?

Both A320s joining Thomas Cook fleet are former Azzurra Air (UK)planes. Before that they were both with the short lived Sweeden's Goodjet though I'm not sure if one plane (ex EI-DBD) actually made it to them before their demise. In any case, that's 3 different operators in less than a year!

Anybody know what that Enola Gay look alike, with jet engines is near the US Air Force base on the opposite (Military) side of Frankfurt Main? It's by the fire practice area so it may be a mock-up, but it looked really real......except for the jet engines of course.......and it was also night time.
