Re: Air Belgium in 2022
It's nice to read that Air Belgium is getting more planes and more destinations, but I'm wondering... isn't this going to quickly? They also have boeing and airbus now. Is this a good idea to combine both? Adding new pax destinations, but are there enough people to fill those flights? They don't hav...

Re: BRU Summer 2022: news, new routes, airlines
I suppose there will be a Lufthansa flight departing Munich early morning and arriving in Brussels so passengers can transit on SN flights to US and Africa? edit: crew1990 just answered my question! Btw, SN also flying to Rabat (first time ever?) and other destinations in Morocco (Marrakech, Tanger ...

SN is adding Munich to the network.
Morning flight from March onwards.
Evening flight from May onwards.
Just like they do the Frankfurt route.

Re: SWISS in 2021
Both are sisters of Lufthansa Group, hence it's not competition. More than that, it’s probably a cost saving measure with Swiss operating the first flight from Geneva and the last one from Brussels to avoid two SN crews night stopping in Gva. A further cost-saving measure would then be to have SN o...

Re: booked a flight, not sure if I will arrive back home
Thank you for your answers. I booked it as 1 booking on kiwi.com. As a return trip brussels - amman and amman - charleroi with a transfer in Bologna. The transfer was 'kiwi guaranteed', because the airlibe (ryanair) doesn't offer the transfer. But apparantly, the kiwi guarantee is only when you woul...

booked a flight, not sure if I will arrive back home
So, me and some colleagues had the idea of going to Jordan from 31 Oct to 6 Nov 2021. We checked skyscanner and found an affordable price on KIWI.com. We would fly ryanair directly from Brussels to Amman and on the way back ryanair from Amman to Bologna and then a small layover to go Bologna to Char...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2021
I just checked flights to WAW and KRK and I see that SN is flying there from 27th of March onwards...
Are they gonna cancel those flights? Since they didn't put them in their summer schedule that they released a few days ago?

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020
Flew SN to Rome this weekend.
Both flights LF over 90%.
On return flight to BRU yesterday, quite a lot of African destinations passengers
Really wonder how much money they are losing with this pandemic.

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020
Question: If we book with SN (for December) and there's a covid peak at destination, do you get refunded when you cancel the flight? Or not?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020
According to De Tijd, the negotiations between Lufthansa and Belgian Government are being blocked by the sanctions LH would get if they don't follow the rules of the contract. If LH doesn't apply to the rules, the Belgian Government would get shares. This seems to be the difficult part for LH, as th...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020
Well, the pilots are pointing out in their letter that there was bad management, a eurowings debacle and so on. Harsh words, but since they are working for the company, I guess there will be (a lot of?) truth in it. I really hope they do find a solution with the government too. Belgium needs a home ...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020
So, destinations to be axed are especially south and east Europe. No more Warsaw, Krakow, Vilnius, Zagreb, St-Petersburg... The hole east is now without SN present... That's a shame. The destinations in the south are ok to be axed in my opinion, except for Sevilla and Valencia (personal reasons, not...
