Re: Brussels Airport delays extension of A pier

@flanker...

In your design, just take an aircraft, place it onto the newly designed stands and then place other aircraft onto the existing stands... You will see, the necessary space isn t available...
My personal opinion of course

Re: Brussels Airport delays extension of A pier

It might well be that by adding 2 medium stands on the connector, 2 or 3 stands from pier A and B need to be removed... Don't forget that aircraft need to be pushed out of the gate...
I do believe that the one designing the pier have tought about this...

Re: Crash at SFO!

Hi anyone a view on the descend profile, was it an idle descend all the way down from its cruising level?
Was it cdo? Was there a long level off, necessitating spooling up the engines?

Re: BRU - new "Connector"

Income from retail is indeed really important, I cannot imagine that closing a taxiway is that detrimental, you still have 2 taxiways at the other side of the Pier, what is/can be the impact...
Maybe EBBU can answer ?

Re: Strike at Belgocontrol?

It did work out, she s at home...
Although following the liberal unions controllers performed work on rules...
The union BGATC was apparently against this as seen on the news... Aren t there issues when one is working with procedure a and the other with procedure b?

Re: Belgocontrol in serious difficulties, 1000 jobs in limbo

Okay,

What do you propose? Let anyone who uses the Flight information service pay?
Let them choose for simple info or for traffic advisory service?
The en route traffic is paying en route charges... Even above fl245 when in contact with muac...
