I think that's far more complicated then it looks at first sight (operational, duty times, legal, cost, ...).

Does this mean that all airciraft will be equipped with the typical "bulb" antenna at the rear upper fuselage?

With Air China landing in BRU as well, the list of long haul expansion for 2026 is becoming great. This must be one of the biggest long-haul expansions since the 90's I imagine!

I'm wondering what eqv HC will use:their complete fleet is allmost grounded all the time, they lease a 772 from MYWAY Georgie ( for CDG service)and have 3 A320leased from Getjet for regional services...Don't know if these can make it to BRU!

Exactly and South Africa has been tried multiple times from BRU in the past without a lot of success.

If I'm not mistaken it's even "on block/off block" times. Meaning that only when the blocks are being removed and the pusback is started, time starts to count. So doors closed, but waiting for a lot for 2 hours: working hours not started yet and "lost" but I can be wrong of course - this is how I ...

There might be some potential but most probably more on leisure and low yield. Meaning 1 or 2 flights a week at low yields, where high yield passangers requiring flexibility will continue to use other flights.
