Re: Air Berlin needs €450m to stem the losses of 2013

Dear Flanker2, I am reading this forum every day and it makes me happy to have someone as you sharing your knowledge to the world. You seem to have figured out the whole airline industry and knowing what will happen in 20-30years from now. Maybe you should quit your job and apply immediately for CEO...

Really good commercial and very original. Maybe sn is bad in choosing names and logo's, they seem to be good in offering very nice commercials :D

Croatia

What is strange for me is that SN is not offering any destination in Croatia anymore. Thaught that they had a very extensive codeshare agreement with croatia airlines. Bad move if you ask me, croatia is a very attractive market..

Sabena?

Sabena.eu was ordered on the same website on the 4th of April this year by a man name 'Alain D'Ieteren'. This man is operating from the SN House and his a lawyer at the firm 'Janson-Baugniet'. The Sabena curators where partners of this firm. Is this good or bad news? :)

Brussels Airlines

I remember in the beginning of SN Brussels Airlines, that there were rumours to drop the SN in a few years and eventually continue with Brussels Airlines. That is why on te original livery of the A330's the SN letters were painted in a very light blue colour. So the new name is not really a surprise...

I yesterday heard on the radio news that last year the Swiss government forbid Flash Airlines in their skies, because the airline wouldn't be safe enough. They didn't say much on that, and don't now if the fact is true. But if it is true maybe the crash was dueded to a lack of safety of the airline....

Well maybe the bankrupt of Sobelair is planned long before. It is just a thought, but why would TUI announce a new charter airline if they have enough with Sobelair. Maybe it is the intension of some people to let Sobelair bankrupt and start a whole new company. And why Sobelair leased 2 737-800's i...

Destination?

Is it not more profitable for Airbus to reconfigure the A340-500s then, in place of keeping the brand nex machines as training airplanes. It think it is a shame for such new airplanes. And as you see the engines of one of the A340-500s are removed so no training with that airplane. Is the reason tha...

But I think the problem is also that we don't blindly fly a belgian carrier. For exemple the Germans fly Lufthansa, the French fly Air France but the belgians don't fly there national carrier. They look more to the costs I think. What reason is there for that problem :?: :?:

But look at the Netherlands, there country is also not big (just 5 milj people more then in Belgium) and they have KLM, one of the worlds leading a...

I like to know all the destinations were Sabena flew on. I want to compare them with the airlines that are now flying (Swiss, Austrian), and even SNBA, then I can see wich possible destinations they might add in the future.

I have a question, does someone still have the latest timetable of Sabena (so the using timetable at the moment they went bankrupt) or maybe a list of destinations where they were flying on.
