I've always wondered why they didn't go for the simpler (and easier to read) " Flying to the home of Tintin/Tomorrowland/..."

Isn’t it common to declare emergency after a compressor stall? But to go and dump fuel over the North Sea, and then going 2000km or so to LEJ at 7000ft... seems a bit excessive when you’re passing all sorts of alternates, no?

So today was the 7th of November and it seems nobody brought this date up.

Looks like the small Fokker 50 airline VLM may be operating Airbuses to China before Air Belgium which has been waiting for their start up for what 1-2 years?
Good for VLM off course but how is it that an airline operating small props and going belly up can get permission to operate ...

OO-SND just landed at Boa Vista (Cape Verde) after a 5h43' trip as SN3837.

This flight has about same distance and same duration as BRU-Dakar flights. It reminds me of the discussions on this forum on the use of A319/A320 for some of the SN's Afi flights (remember Flanker2? ;) ). It might be ...
