Re: Brussels Airlines in 2024

I'm the one discrimated. Sorry, but you’re not being discriminated at all! Discrimination would be when origin, religion, gender,… would be used as a parameter to determine your score during the job interview. As you got the job, your mother tongue wasn’t used against you, so you have not been disc...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2024

I don't think the Flemish have any lessons to receive when it comes to language skills. Some facts: today in Walloon schools, Dutch is not even mandatory and most students choose English as second language (and don't bother to learn Dutch), while in Flanders, French is mandatory as second language ...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2024

Some "food for thought" , This trend is becoming increasingly common among Belgian Francophone customers. Feedback is reaching travel agencies, including in the African market... The article fails to point out the real problem: language skills of Francophone candidates for the position of...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

On https://sites.google.com/view/europeanairlinefleets/bel a 12th A330 appeared for 2026. Even if this is not official yet, the person/organsisation behind this page is most of the time (not always) really well informed. From what I heard lately, one of the plan on the network could be to add freque...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

By this time, OO-SFF will be back on ops. On a side note, there will never be more than 9 l/h flight per day during the S24. To allow to have a back up aircraft for AOG's. In S19 when there were 10 A330's there were 10 l/h flight on day 5. This decision has been taken to avoid cancelling flights in ...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

OO-SFB came back from JFK this morning and I assume it will now go for repainting to CHR. If I get it well from some people here on the forum, that should take around 2 weeks (also for an A333?) For the standard livery: A319/A320/A320neo: 1 week A330: 2 weeks Next year all aircraft wearing the Euro...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

It s not beacause an aircraft is not flying that it's free to go somewhere else to be painted. OO-SFP is simply having some work done to be ready to integrate the SN fleet. No there is no time to go to the paintshop, this aircraft is needed at the homebase asap

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

There is a project to put a proper curtain divider as this is part of a wider project to make the premium product more attractive. But this required some investment. There is unfortunately some other point requiring some big investment wich are higher in the list like the retrofit of OO-SFJ etc. By ...

Re: BRU Winter 2024-2025: News, new routes, airlines

On top of the 2 weekly BRU-NBO-BRU there is as well 2 weekly BRU-KGL-NBO-BRU rotation making th...
