Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Is OO-SFQ really registered or when will it be? If we find traces of the German plane, it's not the same for the Belgian! "oo-sfq" is still "d-aikm" right now but will soon be on the Belgian register. At the moment she is being painted into the full new brussels airlines livery....

Re: BRU Winter 2025 - 2026: news, new routes, airlines
I guess the sheduled still can change but here is an overview of the Brussels Airlines long haul network for W25/26. Source: SN booking engine 03-11-2025//09-11-2025 NB. I just display here the flight with the destination(s), but not the routing. Monday 9 flights -Dakar/Banjul -Conakry/Freetown -Lom...

But anyway the total with the wetlease still a nice growth, let's just hope SN will keep g...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
In the press release regarding their 2024 financial year, SN said Brussels Airlines will add two aircraft to its own fleet (one Airbus 330 for long-haul flights and one Airbus 320 for short- and medium-haul flights) and has a wet-lease contract with Air Baltic, which will operate 4 Airbus 220 aircr...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2025
OO-SNM has just arrived at the paintshop to become the next belgian icon
Only two A319/A320 remaining with the old livery, SNB (Rakham) with the old logo on the tail and SNJ. Still a few to go in the A330 fleet.

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2025
Hi all, Just looked at our travel office platform to book a flight to Venice, leaving 9/04, returning 12/04 to go to the General Assembly of the EU Space Networks. Can see the flights to Venice are operated by Air Baltic then ... So it means that from the beginning of the summer season the 4 Air Ba...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2025
It’s not even the main problem, Air Europa will fly exclusively to JFK as Air Europa have maintenance facility there and not in Africa. This is why Air Europa take over the 5 weekly JFK flights at the moment and no other.

Re: BRU Summer 2025: news, new routes, airlines
Euroairlines is not an airline I think but a broker??Empty flights to/from MAD thanI suppose Flights for TUI, operated in a W pattern. (MAD-PUJ-BRU-PUJ-MAD?) This would be the most logical, finger cross now that TUI find a deal for CUN as well. And maybe one day Brussels Airlines could operate them.

Other airlines do that too.

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2025
I don't think there was a flight planned to LAD today. It is SN227 to ACC that is cancelled today. Announced already days ago and OO-SFP has been put on SN223 BJL-CKY. H.A. My colleague was on the SN flight of today they changed him this morning to Lufthansa without notice! Anyway it's already 1 mo...

Re: TUI Airline in 2025
If only Punta Cana and Cancun are working there are other solution for TUI than using it's own metal like using a third party: Brussels Airlines BRU-PUJ-CUN-BRU or TUI netherlands with a W pattern flight AMS-CUN-BRU-CUN-AMS and AMS-PUJ-BRU-PUJ-AMS. The second beeing the most realistic as SN as othe...

Re: TUI Airline in 2025
Maybe this is simply not the market for Belgium to have full planes several times a week. As we can see, short and midhaul is booming for leisure, long haul rather not. Only 2 destinations in the Caribbean are part of the Belgian market, Punta Cana and Cancun and indeed there is no room for daily l...

Re: TUI Airline in 2025
Would be nice if someone could fill that gap. SN in winter when they have planes left anyway? In partnership with TUI and Neckermann and Corendon? No more connection to Jamaica, Mexico, Curacao, Cuba and Dom Rep. This is day dreaming, but it would be nice indeed to have SN teaming up with TUI and o...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2025
A321neo for long haul ops has been a business case many time. Those business cases always ended up with a negative out come. Why coming back here every 3-4 month with this fantasy. Brussels Airlines did their calculation already.

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2025
SN does not cancel flight because of low load factor, load factor is far to be low by the way as the network is adapted during those month, NO IAD, less JFK, more west Africa. Less flight globally as aircraft are in maintenance, painting, cabin mod etc. Cancelling a flight is always done if no other...

Where we are more lucky in this particular case is that the landing gear was due to be changed this month anyway so the new landing gear was alreaydy order and delivered.

Yes yes great for them  Depending of the type of cargo for exemple in case of animal care team on board etc, and where the cargo is loaded there might be the need of cabin crew. And no this is not for the basic need of pilot. In the case of brussels airlines we are talking about a ferry flight ...
