Re: American to drop ORD-BRU eff. Nov 6 2011

For AA, they can start Miami-Brussels B767.

What makes you think Miami would work for AA, if they can't even make Chicago work?

First , AA have stop the ORD-BRU route because the competition was maby to strong from UA.

Second , Miami is one of the American destenation that never is fly ...

Re: American to drop ORD-BRU eff. Nov 6 2011

If I read this reactions, than I wonder why Brussels Airport the C-Pier has removed. They had better the gate refurbished and the Satelliet olso refurbished instead of an office.
If the C-pier or Satelliet standing now in 2011for passenger it would be nice for airlines example.
Jet Airways terminal ...

Re: American to drop ORD-BRU eff. Nov 6 2011

It gives a very important advantage to BRU. Of course it is very sad that AA has to close a very ancient line from BRU to ORD but it create a free space in the morning at the B-pier. And it is needed because the morning is quite full.

Now there is more space for Thai Airways and United Airlines ...

Re: American to drop ORD-BRU eff. Nov 6 2011

If this might lead to UA putting a daily T7 on ORD-BRU, it would mean we would have three T7's of the same company daily at BRU... Pretty impressive. 9W was the last one to do this, but it was a completely different story and eventually 9W had to scale down drastically.

May we see a DL-AMS like ...

Re: Brussels Airlines to start US service in 2012

The T-pier will now almost filled with A333's? And what will they do with Jet Airways, Jet may fly to Miami or Chicago. Or Jet will fly direct to JFK from India or Jet and SN on the same morning flight to JFK. Competition on the other hand, Delta Airlines and American Airlines will be feeling that ...

Re: Is SN the largest codeshare agreement airlines in the wo

but also bmi.

BMI has got more than 30 agreements. I am supride becaust BMI can be compared with SN (example: Fleet, destenations,..). But they are together in Star Alliance. On the other hand, you see that Air France
(major competitor) has about 28 agreements, KLM only 22. Iberia has 23 and ...

And Jet Airways is named as a possible member. Ruediger said the Indian market is big enough to have two members in the same alliance, they will probably not stop with Air India.
Just, there is a chance that AI and 9W join together in *A?

Re: Skyteam is chasing Jet Airways

It is very regrettable that Jet Airways goes away from Brussels and go to the Sky-Team alliancie. But that makes SN-LH again stronger in North America. And SN have the opportunity to fy to North-America. Jet Airways will know that KLM-AFR fly already in America and India. Last year around september ...

I saw the AVRO leave yesterday, and the color was wonderful.
I have two questions

-What mean IATA?
-And when will the 2nd AVRO and Boeing 737 joined Korongo?
