I'm planning to go planespotting in the upcoming vacation wich starts the 29th of october.
I think I'm going from early in the morning 8 o clock? Can you guys tell if it's worth it? and maybe what kind of planes I am going to see? And which runways are in use then and how to get there?

I saw somwhere that the Boeing 777 would have a tailhook in the centre of the fuselage.
Does anybody know what it's used for?

I was looking at some movies here at luchtzak. And in some movie about pilot's perspective on short finals. Anyway in the cockpit there's a computer voice (?) and he counts the distance between the a/c and the rwy. It goes like this:

I have a little question, when I play FS 2004, and I'm ready for take off I I (the computer) talks to the tower, and they always say: e.g.: Speed bird C9 heavy ready WITH QUEBEC ready for take off.
now my question is for what stands the "with quebec"? sometimes it's with november. Anyway ...

Due to foggy weather conditions at Schiphol, a NWA A330 would be diverted to BRU. Anyone more information on that?
