TNT have a history of making grand plans for the air network that then fizzle out.

There where the 72 BAe 146, which in the end became just over a dozen. Then there was 14 A300 and now the long-haul network, which was to be where the future of TNTA was.

Regardless of what happens with the UPS bid ...

So, we are now approaching July and the question then becomes: Where are those 767s that supposedly should have started arriving in May? There is even talk of an agreement between the unions and management on deviations from the current contract specifically for a 767 operation.

But no sign of the ...

Most of the pilots and the entire maintenance crew has been sacked. Only for them to lease in a couple of other A300's (-600) within a month after their last A300 (TZB) left LGG on 23-12-2009.

The first Boeing 767, operated by TNT Airways, is due to arrive in May.
