The ticket price is the main thing most people looking at, but when there are problems with your ticket and you have to reach them: good luck!!

Re: fluids allowed back in 2012
Finally they stop this money and time consuming nonsense. This security prevention was in the beginning okay after that stupid "terrorist attempt", but after a certain time it remained only there to generate more revenue for the shops behind the security check.

Re: Belgian ATC 24h strike 28/09/2010 12:00 UTC
I hope the BE government or the EU union will push a big claim into the direction of Belgocontrol for this strike. Today many pax stranded again* because of some ATC's that were unhappy with their job and a transfer of some colleagues?? Many pax have no rights for compensation due to this strike ...

Also mind that the target group will be African travelers, and not (mainly) European travelers. African travelers are more interested in the total price of their journey rather than time spend.

Re: Official: Miles & More to replace Privilege at SN
It seems that fcw and MAM are on a collision course. Both are bringing valid arguments, but the truth remains unknown.
Who is right I leave in the middle, but I can tell you that I see MAM availability on a daily basis.
Anyone else who can share his experience?

Re: Official: Miles & More to replace Privilege at SN
And how did you check this, online? To check the availability online is not 100% reliable since not all SN flights are bookable on the MAM website, and it might give you a false impression.

Again, the RBD's for MAM award seats are b.flex RBD's on Brussels Airlines flights, so nothing to do with b.lightfcw wrote:It is not an information, its a fact!
Just try to book and you will see, reward tickets (in economy) are only available if there are seats available in B-light.

Re: Official: Miles & More to replace Privilege at SN
Thanks, MAM, for these clear explanation
Alternatively you wait until 14 days before your flight to book your smart award for only 15k miles and you use the saved 15k miles to erase the taxes.
BUT, fly smart is only available IF there are seats left in B-light, so your smart award is only ...

Thanks, MAM, for these clear explanations.
Before spending your 30k miles on a EU award always check the price of a revenue ticket, and in my opinion you should not even waste your 30k miles on a EU MAM award....

Is Etihad part of miles & more??
No.
The taxes for most EU MAM awards are a real punishment for being loyal to the program if you ask me, and specially LH is really expensive since they charge per flight segment and not per one way.

The change of carriers on a website with booking application is not just one "one button click" procedure. Flights have to be loaded in the system manually before they are even bookable.

Re: Brussels Airlines joining Star Alliance in December 2009
AF is cheaper out of Brussels (even when including first class TGV between Brussels and CDG). Strangely enough, AF is more expensive to Africa out of CDG than out of BRU. SN is probably playing the same trick out of Paris!

Why they don't offer for example one or two flight to AMS to steal some pax from KLM/Skyteam?
I think they will mainly use the train to get passengers from AMS to BRU.
I've read that LH is thinking about launching a limo/taxi service from AMS to DUS or BRU in order to get C-class pax to fly with ...

Are we able to accumulate miles on code share flights operated with Jet Airways ?
