Maybe Word Airways operated these flights as regular charters. That would explain the originally "high density" seating arrangement of 461(!!) seats. And they operated 747C at that time. I had a look at my BRU reg-books of 1974 but found only WO 747 visiting BRU once. But I went to BRU only rarely ...
To reach the parking lot at the railway station follow the signs: "Lichtenbroich" and then "Fernbahnhof". Admission to the viewing pier is 2,50 and this ticket is also good for using the skytrain. The railway terrass is of limited use when 07 is in use. have a nice trip and enjoy! Diddi

It says "share your pictures" in the heading: well. I´ll do so! I always look back to BRU with some kind of pleasure. Nearly each visit in the Seventies was "spiced" with some nice stories to tell, be it going to the loo with a sub-machinegun in our back after being "rounded-up" again by the police ...
Obviously, the French authorities didn`t notice that the cold war is over for quite a long time.. They should give access to this beautiful piece of French aviation history. What an amount of work has been done already by these fellows, I´m amazed (but probably these military people don`t care ...
