Hello, I flew with Tunisair a few years ago. The flight going out from BRU was on a 737 and was ok, though the seat I was sat on, nearly came apart when I got up to go to the toilets. The food was ok but don't drink their tea which is disgusting. But the return journey from Tozeur via Djerba to BRU ...

Quite an interesting documentary and at a times shocking. But like all the investigative documentaries they only show you what they want you to see. The 2 air hostesses in disguise were on the job for 5 months so in most jobs and airlines you will find lapses in customer service, safety, security, e...

Thanks Jense for the info. Would you or someone else know if they have any clue as to where a luggage may be in the hold (loaded first, middle, last cart)? I'm thinking of when a passenger doesn't show up at the gate but there luggage is in the hold and needs to be removed. I was on a 747 once and a...

Bagage hold question for flights with a stopover
Hello,
Let's say a flight goes from Brussels to Sevilla via Madrid.
Is the baggage separated in the hold to allow easy and quick unloading when the plane stops in Madrid before continuing to Sevilla (with passengers on board who boarded at BRU)?
Captain.

This was a predictable move from Aer Lingus. They had put orders for new A330's recently and are separating from OneWorld alliance as part of their strategy. This is a why to look into getting new income. Many people may prefer to change in Dublin as it's a more manageable airport than LHR, CDG or F...

The opening of flights to from non UK is good news indeed but don't expect it to be a busy airport like Malaga. I was in Gibraltar a few years ago and the runway is literally just after the main road from the border point so when a plan is due to land or take off the main road into and out of Gibral...

Why the end for cheap flights could be nigh
Interesting article that starts off with basic facts about low costs airlines but ends with future green taxes that may be imposed by national government or the EU:

Very interesting your memories and timeline of your trip on that day. It must have been quite scary to have learnt that some of the 9/11 flights were originally heading to the West Coast of the US which was your final destination too. I had a friend who flew from Paris to Washington Dulles and his f...

I was flying out on a BA flight to LHR at the time of the incident. The RAM flight was parked next to the BA plane and pushed back before we did. We we there stuck for 45 min and once we were given go ahead to take off we taxied past the RAM flight and the Singapore airlines which were both surround...

I was flying out of BRU tonight on BA 401 to LHR and we took of 2h30 late due to tonight's problems at BRU. The captain originally said one of the runways was closed but didn't give any further info. We were later told a minor taxiing colision had occured which I noticed between a Singapore Cargo an...

Will be flying with BA instead
BA launched special World offers for September so for £107 rtn I will fly with them as it's actually cheaper than Turkish or Easy Jet for the dates I want and I get to fly from Heathrow and on a 767 on both legs and lands at Istanbul's main airport:-)
I'll post a complete trip report in a few weeks.

Makes perfect sense as Romania will join the EU next year (provided it satisfies demands for democratic and market reforms). That means families, Erasmus students, tourists will be making many more journeys to Belgium whilst business travellers and EU employees will probably fly to Romania from BRU ...
