Yet another crash - Mustang @ Duxford

Not seen reported here but see the link for the photo of the year, in my humble opinion.

Re: Pam Ann comes to Belgium !

Not laugh out loud funny but the BA girl is right on the money. Shame she didn't do any of the US airlines, mind you she isn't quite old enough for that !!!! Perhaps the humour is a bit too British for most Belgian tastes? C PS have you seen "Come Fly With Me" on BBC 1 yet. If you think th...

Noted a couple of Swiftair 73's around 14.00 but these were KDY & KLR - maybe an aircraft change?

f I look to 3/4 of your posts you are just complaining, complaining and guess Only 3/4 - I'm disappointed. I have a reputation to uphold. I guess it must be my age! I do appreciate the posters on here although there is a tendency toward the piccy takers amongst you rather than the reggie spotter. Bu...

Re: BRU 26/01/2011

@ tangolima Why bother posting about common or mudane stuff when some real gems go unreported? Take today. There is a Brazilian Air Force Embraer 135 sitting at Abelag which is a pretty rare siting, compared with the Saudia 74 which is on, at least, its 3rd visit that I know of. As to HB-JGJ, it spe...

Re: Just fly for the sake of it

Ladies, ladies! Calm down or you will ruin your handbags from all that bashing each other. No wonder aviation enthusiasts have such a bad reputation when all we do is bicker. @ jan_olieslagers I am pretty sure most of us would love to fly ourselves but many things in life come between us and our wis...

Re: BRU 25/10/2010 : Casa Aviocar still present?

@ tl

N189RB is not a special visitor I'm afraid. It lives in the Abelag hangar and has been resident at BRU for a couple of years. It was originally to take up Belgian marks but has srayed US reg'd for some reason.

Andre

That is the romatic in you. I have little or no soul. I love aviation but see aircraft as machines that fly hence my not wanting them to be male or female.

Re: BRU 13/10/2010

@ hvs89 2 things 1. aircraft have no gender they are it, not he or she! 2. whilst the correct serial of the E-4 is 73-1677 it is presented on the fin as 31677. US serials are painted on different types in different ways and take some time to learn the systems of fiscal year etc. Give tangolima a cha...

@ mill100
Someone to confirm they're actual arrival + that these Casa's are making (at least) one nightstop?
Info on std/etd highly appreciated!
If they are doing the same as the 2 which arrived last Saturday (unreported on Luchtzak!) they will nightstop

Does anyone know why around 14:00 a small private plane did a low pass over the fire dep south and the B56? It was a bi-motor plane with french ID (F-***). It was a Beech 200 F-GJFE ( op by SEFA - Service D'exploitation De La Formation Aeronautique) with call sign CALIBRA which goes some way to exp...

It flew right over Belgium yesterday - routeing FERDI - BUPAL. Just a shame that it was cloudy at the time but I guess it will be a regular feature, back and forth.

Re: Bombardier Q400 gets a new life as a freighter

the Q400 (and the de Havilland Dash 8 from which it was developed) is probably the most successful turboprop of all time. I suspect that quite a few manufacturers would dispute that quote. Fokker with F27/50 Beechcraft with 1900 and Antonov for its An24/26 which was built in vast numbers (c3000). A...
