Moreover, they have now JFK planned daily and Washington 4/w ... So less capacity available for Africa.
I saw that Dakar is again in triangulation with Banjul and Conakry ...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
I am wondering if there are still A333 going for maintenance or repaint this Spring time.

Re: BRU Summer 2026: news, new routes, airlines
If the Brussels Airport website is right, Emirates will come back with one flight per day.
Also some flights to Doha would restart. Many are still canceled (second to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, ...)
However, even with flights restored, I think many people will avoid the Middle East anyway, so few ...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Dear all,
I see that Austrian will make use of two E195 planes of Air Dolomiti. Air Dolomiti will get many of those from OS.
Could SN not make use of some by EN operated birds for thinner routes (less capacity needed).
I think about going back to Bristol, Torino, Nurnberg, Bremen ...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
It will be the same seat and cabin as Discover, as it was a joint project between Discover and Brussels Airlines, only the colors and the galley will be different. I wonder why Brussels Airlines hasn’t presented the new cabin yet. If it’s a joint project, they might be ready as well.
There are ...

Dear all,
Starting next year there are major changes in the long haul fleet:
- Two new A333 will join;
- Interior will be revamped completely;
- Starlink to be installed, also on this long haul fleet;
- New destinations, additional frequencies and/or de-triangulation to be implemented.

Hi Atlantis,
Is Chongqing not new for the summer season, or as it only for the winter season?
Etihad started using bigger planes, will that continue in summer time?
Cheers,
Danny

Also to be taken with a pint of salt.
Air China is expected to launch Chengdu-Tianfu on January 1st, 3x weekly.
CA463 would arrive on Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday at 06h20 and depart as CA464 at 12h30.
This is a short but interesting article on the topic.

Re: BRU Winter 2025 - 2026: news, new routes, airlines
Thanks to early information, Air China is expected to launch Beijing on January 2nd, 4x weekly.
CA963 would arrive in BRU at 20:20 and leave as CA964 at 22:00, which would be the latest long-haul flight from the airport.
This also means PEK would become double-daily (with Hainan Airlines) on ...

OK, you are right, but this then not a new airline, otherwise you can also count LATAM for a new airline for next year

If you can't tell, we will speculate :lol:
You speak about airlines, so there is more than one (beside LATAM)?
- Riyadh Airways starting Riyadh
- Air India or Indigo to Delhi or Mumbai
OR
- Air China starting Chengdu
- American starting Philadelphia
OR
another combination of the above

Overbooking phenomena
Dear all,
Recently I had several cases of overbooking on SN. Leaving for BCN a few weeks ago I was upgraded to business class because this overbooking and they were still looking for several passengers to go on a later flight (in return for 250€). The plane was a A320.
Returning last week, the ...

Hi all,
Something I noticed already a few times but I see that a B789 from Hainan landed this morning coming in from Boston. As far as I know they don't fly this route. Is it a special flight (it landed as HU730 at 7:09am, according to flightradar24). Is this freight? But it is a B789 so that would ...
