That would be great! It would be good use of those 752s that are in storage right now.

I wonder if NW would put the new World Business Class in those planes, or leave them in the domestic configuration?

I believe the 'Quad Otter' was the DeHavilland Canada Dash 7 (DHC-7). There were 111 of those built.

Does Singapore Airlines Need a New Livery?

I was thinking the other day that, Singapore Airlines' livery and logo looks dated. Do you think that it is time for a change?

Yes, you are correct. I made a mistake. It is $20 million, not $200 million.

Bankrupt Airline Spends on Uniforms

From ABC News:

I hope Delta is right in saying that the new uniform will be a morale booster. At over $20 Million, they are making a huge investment.

What are your thoughts?

I saw on 'Action 2 News' this morning, that a local Green Bay towing company, Ace Towing, has pulled the aircraft out, but the gear is damaged. An Allegiant maintenance crew flew in from Las Vegas yesterday. They are working on it right now.

Sad enough this accident. Did anyone survive? Our thoughts should be with the victims, especially as these people were safety & rescue workers. Judging from the images there wasn't a fire, was there? The pilot, James Vincent, was the only person on board the helicopter when it crashed. He unfor...

Northwest changes plan to charge for extra legroom

http://www.greenbaypressgazette.com/app ... 1/60419011

I think this is a good change. It allows loyal Northwest customers to get 'premium' seats free of charge, but still charges non-frequent fliers for these seats.

Seriously though, I don't understand why some people have a hard time writing in English. Luchtzak has spell check. If everyone would use it, there would be no problem.

Hellicopter crashes half-hour after I saw it

Yesterday, I was playing tennis at school when I saw a blue and yellow medical hellicopter fly over. A half-hour later the hellicopter crashed. County Rescue Services (the operator of the hellicopter) is located about a mile away from my house. I see them doing practice runs at least once a week. ht...

But if Airbus will completly redisign the a350, then it will be even farther behind Boeing then it is now. I think Airbus is better off this way. It may not be able to beat Boeing, but at least it already has 91 orders, thats not too bad. I totaly agree. Plus, if Airbus were to redesign the A350, t...
