Re: Lufthansa plans to sell BMI

I see your point ... No domestic flights anymore like in the Air UK days. I'm guessing that, for KL, it's only interesting to get passengers to AMS and from there on have them transfer on the Euro / Intercontinental network.
As far as domestic flights are concerned, I'm guessing it's too hard to ...

Re: Lufthansa plans to sell BMI

I just assumed they stopped/dissappered, as I don't saw the birds with notice KLM UK anymore..
So there are still KLM Cityhopper - planes based in the UK ? ( Fokker 70 - Emb190? )
I tought all KLC were based at AMS.. Which are the KLC bases in the UK ? ( sure NOT BHX )
So KLC has also connections ...

Re: Lufthansa plans to sell BMI

What do you mean: KLM UK was not a success?

KLM UK still exists and was, operationally, integrated in KLM Cityhopper. We fly several times a day to LHR, Cardiff, Bristol, Liverpool, Newcastle, Durham Tees Valley, Norwich, Humberside and Leeds Bradford. Besides that we operate flights for KLM to ...

Re: Ryanair: Costs could be reduced by flying without Co-Pil

Where on earth did you hear the news KLM wants it's cockpit crew to help out the cabin crew during the flight? The only thing I heard is that they are looking for pilots who are willing to work -temporarily- in the cabin, as they have too many pilots and too few cabin crew. They would not function ...

As KLC staff, we're getting the opportunity to visit the E190 on the 17th, before it goes into operation. Really looking forward to that, it is certainly going to be different then our fokkers!

Is it true that an LH 747 is coming to Brussels Airlines, to operate the FIH-flights? Or is this just gossip?

End SNBA - IB partnership

Hello,

Does anyone know exactly why Bru Airl is ending the partnership with Iberia? As a former IB staff member, I know this is one of the best partnerships of SNBA... We checked in and boarded lots and lots of pax with an SN ticket on IB flights (and of course lots of IB tickets on SN flights ...

I doubt that SN will start its own ground handling, it's very expensive to do such a thing! Let alone they would buy flightcare!
On the other hand, I'm very well aware of the fact that they are not always happy with flightcare... and they would love to have their OWN agents wearing their OWN uniform ...

Because it fits in their strategy to offer two different products on every aircraft: it will allow them to offer a basic product (based on vex) and an upgraded product (based on sn) on one single aircraft.

Personally, I don't believe in such a strategy that tries to make a compromise between two ...
