I have flown several times with UIA and they are quite fine. Crew is ok, planes are fine too, B-737, and inflight is pretty decent with hot meal and free drinks. Take the direct flight, easier and quicker, especially if the price is the same.

Not very good for the customer though. Brussels Airlines' very light prices in b light are only available on routes with competition from the Sky Europe and Easyjets of this world.

I also already had the Cappucino on a flight from Krakow to Brussels. Very good quality. 4 € may not seem cheap, but it beats any comparison with average coffee on many other airlines.

BTW the instant coffee on bru air is quite fine.

Are you sure they were new LEATHER covers ? I flew back in an Avrojet with new seat covers. I asked myself if they were leather or synthetic material (lloked more like something synthetic, not leather, to me).

Maybe they make them scent like leather :wink: but is it like you write synthetic ...

Today I flew back from THF to Brussels and was positively suprised by the smell of fresh new leather. While the rest of the inside of the plane shows its age the seats were new (or at least the seat covers were changed with new leather covers). It was very nice to sit in these new seats.

If so, I think the government could agree with a limit of 18.000 flights if the night flight regime is extended to 06.30 or 07.00. A nice Belgian compromise defending interests between the airport company and the people living around the ...

If the gov had kept Sabena alive they would have saved 540 000 000€ in taxes every year if we suppose that there was no profit nor loss...

sn26567, it's nice to read your report. b.flex is indeed an excellent product for the short routes up to 3 hrs that Bru Airlines flies in Europe. The cabin has a calm atmosphere as usually only experienced travellers who are away for their work sit in this section of the plane.

2) there seems to be priority boarding but that never worked out fine the times that I boarded in b-flex. Usually everyone boards at the same time. They should have two separate Q-s. One for b-flex and one for light.
