The most important thing is that the pilots are good but in an emergency I think that to know Spanish could be a good point too...

when you are not trained in "english", talking all the time in your
native language what will you do in a foreign country during an
emergency? Start to look in books ...

Business language for pilots is english in every country!
Usually it is a nightmare for foreign pilots to approach airports like
CDG or MAD in a high traffic situation.

You have no idea about positions of other aircraft or about "the
situation awareness" because some nations believe to be alone on ...

Interesting to see how arrogant they continue the application process.
Either CAE and Clickair directly do not accept foreign pilots when
they are not able to talk in spanish. This occurs in the EU in 2006.
Spain is bankroll by some major european countries.
