There are some rumors that SN will start some daily flights between BRU ans DRS/LEJ (Dresden and Leipzig), a/c RJ85, commencing at the end of March 2009.
Does anyone know something about that?

Will it happen step by step or all in one night?

Well, may be you are right, but I think the you cannot compare the situation AMS/LGE with BRU/LEJ. The distance between AMS and LGE is much shorter than the one between LEJ and BRU. As you might have noticed I am quite interested in air cargo. Therefore I have one more question concerning cargo at BRU. Can anyone tell me how many cargoflights (which are not operated by DHL) are there in BRU because of the DHL Hub or in other words: Which cargo airlines are using the DHL network...

Yeah, of course it's quite hard for all those people who will loose their job in BRU...but I think we all have to get used to this...
Did DHL offer the BRU employees to come with the hub to LEJ?

With "new" I meant if these flights to LEJ are new and added to the DHL timetable or if these flights are only shifted to LEJ from BRU or CGN.

Are these completely new flights or are they replaced from other airports as Cologne der BRU?

The two An124 (ADB and Volga-Dnepr) are usually stationed in Leipzig (LEJ) but of course most time they are somewhere around the world.
But when there's nothing to do, they are in LEJ.

Up to now I wasn't able to find one, only for the non-DHL flights.

It was said that it will be destinations in Poland, Czech Rep., Ukraine and so on. So it might be that local operators (like "Exin" in Poland) are operating these flights. Which eastern european airlines are already operating for DHL and which airports in eastern Europe are already served ...
