Re: Brussels Airlines : pilots strike looming
We'll see what you'll have to say when MOL decides to take 20% of your salary and bases you in Syberia. …or Air France/Hop gives you E-training at 5 in the morning for the new check in system - a real mess which confirms a very weak airline management in various markets in Europe. The passengers al...

Re: Brussels Airlines : pilots strike looming
As passenger, I am the first victim of the strike. Yet, I support it 100%.
Enough of these nonsense managers who think that the worker should accept anything in fear of unemployment.

Re: SN flight to TLS left without baggage !
Some selfish passengers don't understand that the interest of the airline have precedence over their own comfort. Own comfort ???? time to redefine what a customer can/cannot expect. I don't see anything selfish in expecting your bags (for which you are paying in your ticket) to appear within reaso...

Re: Official: Miles & More to replace Privilege at SN
It all depends of your flight frequency, flight pattern and place of origin. If you are going to do a lot of AC, in the same booking class, have a look at the different programs of Star Alliance. Let me illustrate this with two examples. 1-Austrian Airline VIE to BKK - Booking Class W. On Miles and ...

Re: Air France/Delta to increase Paris-Atlanta to 5 daily
Time to think to add a third UA/SN flight to Denver or Houston, major hubs of UA now merged with Continental. And yes, with a true F product (suites, etc..)

For me the security at BRU is the worst I have seen...but if the Fast Lane is properly and effectively managed, it will be a huge improvement in the right direction

Re: brussels airlines vs Ryanair
I would not use the word 'steal' but 'force'. Since there are no longer non stop flights between BRU and BOD, I had to fly Ryann Air. I was reluctant to try Charleroi and Ryann Air. I was wrong. I paid only 69 euros for a return, and it was a pleasant experience. At least I saw flight attendants. I ...

Re: Ryanair at Brussels ?
No way, I dont want to pay 30 euros extra. Just returned from BDX - 60 euros ticket (without bags) and found check in people much more friendly at Charleroi than BRU. Also security is much more efficient at Charleroi.

Re: New Brussels Airlines commercial.
There was some improvement a few months ago whith the news of Lufthansa acquiring Brussels Airlines. It did generate some enthusiasm but it is now all gone. Last week two flights with no newspapers aboard for B.flex or Business. The food in B. Flex is now a terrible sandwich full of chemicals - unea...

Re: Flights cancelled due to volcanic ash cloud from Iceland
The way Brussels Airlines is dealing with this problem shows once again their inability to handle customers properly. I received a SMS telling me that the flight was cancelled - no answer from their call center, no help at all. Had to rent a car to get BRU...once I got here, the desk of Brussels Air...

Re: British Airways (BA) will go on strike for 12 days
I am sure glad that Brussels Airlines did not join Global One and British Airways...don't jump on people striking but on the managers sitting comfortably in offices, behind the safety of their Excell sheet and making some nonsence decisions. Sorry to say, but those are everywhere now. Flying is a pr...

Re: Brussels Airlines to join Star Alliance in December
Strange...flights in B.Flex only yield 50% of the miles on United Mileage Plus...same as most economy fares.
But the good news, it is 100% EQS.

Re: website Brussels Airlines : most user-friendly website 2009
Each time I want to do a booking, I have to re-enter all my data. Why is there no automated profile when I enter my M&M frequent flyer number. User friendly ? what a joke! Privilege has been discontinued a month ago and this is still not fixed.

Service in F has already been reduced: no more Cuvée Rare - replaced by half the price Champagne. The wine list is now extremely poor ! Unacceptable as F/A/P prices of course remain high.

This must be a joke...the "book now" part nevers works; after filling your data you are re directed to another window where you have to start all over again...You are still not able to reserve any specific seat at the time of reservation (see United, Qatar, etc.). Ah yes, there is a major ...

Re: Temporary unemployment at Brussels Airlines?
In one part of the country, a regional government sponsors companies to take business away from Brussels National while the federal government may have to pay for temporary unemployment at Brussels National. Belgium at it's best ? Have a look at the arrogant and rude security agents at BRU airport....

Re: Privilege/Miles & More question
Privilege merges with Miles & More so your miles earned on Privilege will be transferred on Miles & More ONLY. They cannot be transferred to Mileageplus. You will never be able to combine Mileageplus miles and Miles & More. As soon as Brussels Airlines becomes member of Star Alliance, yo...
