can a A380 really replace the 2 747s on the route? if it cannot, then what are they going to do with the extra passengers? fly another plane? doesn't that defeat the purpose of the A380?
i'm not so sure any of this makes sense. if i were an airline, i'd rather run two flights than one. or 3 flights ...

Brazil's domestic market is smaller than Japan's and they've done just fine. Canada as well is a regional jet powerhouse with a smaller domestic market than Japan.

the problem with really big airplanes such as A380 is that it gives airlines very litte flexibility due to the large Increments.

of course building airplanes is high-tech, but if china can go into space, they can surely build airplanes, and will, the compete.
