This morning around 8:10 am BAF70 (the small jet) taxis to 25R for departure, holds short for a while, and then returns to the parking spot turning on the runway (during rush hour)...
What could be the purpose of this? Forgot something? problen? taxi training?

More and more diversions away from BRU now after missed approaches... VLG from BCN is diverted to LUX, RYR from LIS is diverted to ?, RYR from BCN is diverted to ?, EZJet just aborted a second attempt to land at BRU and is also diverting, ElAl just aborted too... what a mess.

Very strange: EBBR/BRU had seen 19 in use for both landings and take-offs, only to be expected with the strong southerly wind.
Now, around 20:05 UTC, operations seem back to the "standard" 25R for dep., 25L for arrival. OO-SSI aborted a 19 approach to turn aside then land on 25L.

so it takes off in MAD, flies to AMS, tried but fails to land 3 x, and then flies back to MAD with all AMS bound passengers on ...

One go-around after the other at Heathrow... incredible. Latam 8084 just missed his apprach for the 2nd time, and is now followed by QFA10 who is coming back after what appears to be a tail strike on take-off 20 minutes ago.

I'm looking foward to the general panic on social websites as soon as flight SN2014 suddenly disappears from the flight tracking sites (like flightradar24) due to lack of coverage...

I don't think the lenght of the runway is a problem. We shall see what VLM is deciding about a possible new aircraft. This aircraft is only coming when some routes are to big to serve with the current F50.
problem with LCY is not (only) runway length, but rather the steep approach angle ( 5 ...

Yesterday, June 16th, I spotted a formation of (at least) 5 helicopters flying over Brugge. Unfortunately, I could not see any registration or even any colour scheme, as I was driving at the time and could barely see them. Does anybody know what that was all about?

Wind leading to RWY change was between 090-110 ° up to 15 kts. That's 5kts tailwind for RWY 20 if you ask me...
