Manilla Airport

Does anybody know what is the best way to get from Manilla International terminal to the Domestic terminal? How long does it take?

2nd question: is there an ATM on Manilla airport to get local currency?

Other comments on MNL?

So, does anyone know what the actual limits are for KLM, LOT and SWISS?

And does this also depend on the ground handler? LOT does the ground handling for KLM at WAW, which rules will they use?

KLM is totally unpredictable: it depends on a combination of how full the flight is and the mood of ...

Flying to CSY

It looks like I may have to go to Cheboksary in Russia sometime in July.
The airport (CSY) advertises itself as international, but I have not been able to find any flights that go there. Does anyone know?

The alternative is Nizhniy Novgorod (GOJ) which would be with LH or S7. Does anyone have ...

My experience is that you really need to shop around; the site that is cheapest today may not be the cheapest on the next flight; even if it is the same routing.

Incidentally, some of the Belgian internet sites tend to be very good if you want to fly to/from Holland or Belgium.
Sites that have ...

You must have been on one of the very early flights as this a/c was only delivered on 7/5/70 - 20 days before your flight!!!

OOps, somehow I thought that I had made a mistake. And yes, it was very early ...

What kind of information did you want to know??

I did not ask the original question, but I would be interested in some registrations of flights that I have been on in the past where I know that the registration that I jotted down at that time is incorrect or missing
Example: I wrote down
27-05 ...

As a nice farewell present, KLM/Air France made me Platinum Elite member for life. Hope you will get something like that as well!

My first flight was on 8-7-1960 with the PH-DCC a DC-8-30 (KLM) from Schiphol to Schiphol on a crew training flight over the North Sea.
In a way, my wife's first flight was better, it was on 29-10-1971 with the OO-AUV a DC-3 operated by DAT from Endhoven to Brussels followed by the OO-SJE a Sabena ...

Thank you all,
I was aware of "seatguru", hence my question about the subtype.
Actually, once you are in cattle class, all seats are bad news, some just a bit worse than others.
But, I know now how to recognize the models.

My introduction

Hi everyone,
I just retired after a working life in which I spent an enormous amount of time in aeroplanes (as a passenger). I clocked some 2000 flights, about 20% of which were intercontinental; flew with 108 different airlines many of which do not exit anymore; took off and/or landed on 210 ...

My first flight to New York Idlewild in the late 60's was with a KLM DC-8 (not yet the stretched version) and because the plane was full and we had a lot of headwind, we had to make a technical unplanned re-fuelling stop in Gander (Newfoundland).
At that time Gander was huge with lots of very ...

There are quite a number of cheap long distance flights from various airports in Europe:
Air Madrid from Spain to South America
LTU (from Germany) and Martinair (from Amsterdam) to various destiantions around the world.
et.
On the bad side: the legroom is minimal.
On the good side: many of these ...

Delta planes to Brussels

What type of 767's does Delta fly to Brussels from JFK and Atlanta?
I will be flying them soon and would like to know the seating configuration which varies per subtype.
