I used this guide ;) ;) I was standing at point B (09L - Western Perimeter Road) thx for the comments :) I suspected that it was spot B since the light is on the right side of the fuselage. I haven't had the fortune with the combination blue sky and 09 operation at LHR, only overcast and rain. On m...

Great photos Bottie! :jump:

May I ask you were at LHR you took these photos?

To help indicate where you were standing, you can use the letter for the spot in my LHR spotter guide http://www.plane-spotter.com/Airports/U ... de_LHR.pdf

And since SAS is 60 years today (treaty signed at 3am on 1 August 1946 to form the SAS consortium for trans atlantic flights) I have just finished the in-air drawing of Christian Waldemar Viking (MSN 2850) with the registration it will get: OY-KBO http://www.plane-spotter.com/Jpegs/800/A319_SAS_Chri...

Had SAS done the retro correctly, it should have been either like this: 1956- look http://www.plane-spotter.com/Jpegs/800/A319_SAS_retro_1956.jpg or like this: 1966- look http://www.plane-spotter.com/Jpegs/800/A319_SAS_retro_viking.jpg The result now is a mix of the two above plus the white engines ...

Since it hasn't been mentioned here before - four stranded MEA aircraft (3x A321 and 1x A332) at BEY took off from the longest unbombed taxiway early yesterday heading LCA. As a retribution to this IOF bombed the fuel storage at BEY later in the evening. I wonder what the reaction from France had be...

And now is also the Beirut Airport website down - IDF seems to also have cut a number of communication lines.

I would suggest renaming IDF to IOF - Defence -> Offence - since they no longer defend their own country, but rather offend neighbouring countries.

With flying the 772ER to Oslo they are using smaller aircraft then they usually do during the summer months - last year the 743 was used for one of their weekly flight.

Here is a photo of the first 772 to OSL on 10 June

To make it even worse - Air Berlin was earlier known as Air Berlin USA , but in April 1991 (after the fall of the Berlin Wall) USA was removed. Back to Norwegian, the aircraft have been nicknamed the tampon  - and by taking closer look at their colours scheme one can understand why http://www....

I still think they should change their name, since most of their destinations from Poland are not even in the general direction of Norway. Why change name? There will only be a few 733s based in Poland Do we hear suggestions about easyJet, Ryanair and Air Berlin changing names when they add new bas...

In exactly two weeks I will be at MAN and this time it is the last airport to visit on our tour around Europe. As usual for the PLANE-SPOTTER.com tours the last years, a stop at MAN is MANdatory. As in September 2004 I will stay Radisson SAS Hotel at the airport - and the best part is that the room ...
