new to Project AI

Hello everyone!

I'm interested in adding realistic air traffic to my FS. I've never done this before, but as I've heard, Project AI is the best (free) way to do this.
However, I'm totally lost on their site. As I understand it, I'm supposed to install the default commercial/general aviation with ...

I wouldn't! Even a 2 hour flight with limited space bothers me. I can't imagine flying a long distance like in a can of sardines. So it doesn't bother me to pay a little extra for better service and more space!

I guess Airbus will have to go back to its drawing board to put more composite materials in its design for this one, if they ever find a way to produce composites in mass like Boeing does.

When back on the drawing board, they could also add 'bleedless' engines too. Airbus doesn't use those, if I'm ...

The Airbus vs Boeing discussion is rather amusing for someone like me who hasn't picked a side yet 8)

I think we can all agree, that withouth this A vs B thing, we'd all be flying planes with serious bugs. (Cfr. the Microsoft monopoly on the software market.)

Without the need to outrun eachother ...

Looks great! Call me childish, but I like great grafix in FS, it only adds to the level of reality. If gfx weren't important, we'd still be flying with FS95 grafix.

Ok, there's more to FS than just ...

1 DVD in stead of 4 CD's is more convenient, but what about response time? Could loading data from a (potential +4GB) DVD disc affect speed?
Maybe it's just to store more and better textures and will only be used during installation..

Yesterday, I experienced something weird at EHAM. I was waiting for my turn to take off, there was only one plane (US Airways 767 I think) ahead of me. I was watching the skies, looking for planes to land on the same runway, while ATC was giving permissions to land to airplanes clearly way too close ...

By a show of hands, who knows ALL the airport codes worldwide? I'm not asking for a newbie forum and (as I've mentioned before) I do know where to find information. It's only good practice to make posts a little bit more readable. Airlinecodes.co.uk is a very good website to find IATA/ICAO codes ...

Ok, a quick search on google learns that YYZ means Toronto, but for the newcomers among us, it'd be a whole lot more convenient if you mention the full airport name! Some topics are often hard to read for people new to this forum! 8)

FS X

Looking for more info on a possible new edition of FS, I found this on a forum, posted by John Goodwin (on 26/10/2005):

I have family living on the island of mallorca and am therefore very interested in good scenery of the balearic islands...do you know where to get it? I do a lot of flights between Brussels and Mallorca with a short stop-over in Menorca or Ibiza.

Great news! But I'll guess we'll still be seeing their A320's land and depart at Zaventem, won't we?

Edit: Aeroflot uses A319's between Brussels and Sheremetyevo (2nd airport at Moscow). Correct me if I'm wrong :)
