True but LH's flight times are perfectly timed. Also that cheaper KL fare is restricted to the KL flight that arrives into IST at 23:30 and depart 05:40 in the morning which effectively means 'loosing' 2 days. Even though I'm going for work purposes, the extra time could come in very handy to see t...

Re: KL or LH to IST. Any experiences?
Hello. I need some advice. I am flying to Istanbul next week and can either take LH or KL. LH: MAN-FRA (A320) FRA-IST (A300) or KL: MAN-AMS (B737) AMS-IST (B737) What meal services do they offer on their flights in particular the sectors to/from Istanbul? snacks? hot meals? Advice would be apprecia...

There are many stories. Some are true some are not... For my concerne I was always content with them and I have over 10 flights(round trips) with NE/5P. There were never canceled flights, 80% were on time(some of them even earlier then scheduled) and the others 20% arrived within 20 minutes of sched...

[...]I think they are still waiting for a confirmation from AENA. AENA is very slow ! This is not the first time. Don't ask my why it takes so long.[...] Romanian LCC Blue Air has also problems in getting confirmation from AENA for 2x weekly BBU-VLC route. The documentation for this route was done ...

It's curious how the BUD-STN route it's not working. They were the only LCC to fly to Stansted and the rates were prety good comparing those of Easyjet or Wizz Air. I hope that they would not aply Wizz Air's methods of canceling the routes. At least from BUD because those interests me. For the momen...

The easiest way to get to Milan(Air Terminal in front of Statione Centrale /Central Station is the final stop) is by bus. Terravision or Autostradale costs 6.7 euro one-way or about 11 or 12 round trip. Tickets can be purchasedfrom the Autostradale office(near the Arrivals exit door) at Bergamo and ...

Tarom representatives declared that there was a minor problem with the plane but the passengers had a different point of view. Anyway in the past 2 months there were deferent incidents involving 2 of Blue Air's(Romanian LCC) 737 and 1 of Tarom's ATR-42. In each case airline representatives deny any ...

CIA is busy too on this days. There is a lot of trafic from Ryanair and Easyjet(over 40 daily flights) the 2 major LCC that use this airport and a big number of other LCC flights(Wizz, Centralwings, Blue Air, Hapag-Lloyd, Sterling) and some small eastern airlines like Carpatair. I think that there a...

TAROM - emergency landing at BRU
I saw yesterday on TV that the OTP-LHR Tarom flight had an emergency landing at BRU due to a pilots cabin cracked window. The Oxygen Masks were used by the passengers.
The passengers continued their way to LHR with other airlines flights.

I don't think that Wizz, Sky or any other eastern LCC that already has operations from BUD will start flying from BEG. Why?! Because BEG - BUD road distance is only ~350 km from witch ~170 on motorway(5 hours drive) and there is already a very developed minibus transfer for low cost flights. Each ti...
