The 747-8 Freighter is the only large (front-loading, outsize) commercial freighter available. I beleive that the market will ultimately be fairly large, even with competion from converted, ex-passenger 747-400's.

The only one??? Give the AN124 an AN225 some credit!!! :lol:

The new generation of A/C's with glass cockpit have a tail strike indicator (chevron on the primary flight display) wich represents the limit that the pilot can not exceed during the rotation to avoid a tailstrike, they have as well an auto-callout "pitch-pitch" to warn the crew, but i guess this ...

I am surprised, people use the salary as main reason to leave DAT/SNBA/Bru Airf .... YES! Also for me (F/O +3500hrs TT and +2500 on the wonderful Jumbolino) the money of my new employer was ONE of the reasons that I left. But having a family with childeren a better "quality of life" is also a good ...

Don't know if this is yhe exa&ct reason but the Airbrake gives the AVRO RJ/BAe 146 the capability to perform very steep approaches and the Carbon brakes are so effevtive that thrust reverse is not nessecery ...

that is what I guess ... will inform whit someone who knows ...

SNBA flies Larnaca out of EBBR, but not at their own metal .. it is a Codeshare with Cyprus Airways!

You can also charter a SNBA-aircraft and then they will even pick you up in EBAW!!! :wink: But isn't that cheap I geuss ...

In any case it are not always the flights with a high number of pax that are profitable!!
a copple of months ago I heard NEW was one of the destinations making money even with onliy 30 pax on board! And I think the same goes for LGW.
