currently, TNT is operating only 1 (!) flight on B737 for club med which is RAK AGA on saturday(all year round)
about 70% of TNT pax flights are extra capacity for thomas cook and are thomas cook flights

While you are apparently checking every flight each day for any delays I have the pleasure of piloting some of them and I can say that 9 out of 10 flights we are on time
I do not understand why some like to talk negative about the Belgian companies over an over again

Is it really necessary to make a topic everytime a TAY passenger flight has a couple of hours delay?

well some passengers flying JAF or FQ had to face a delay of a least a couple of hours as well this summer as in every high season

It is indeed not the tax problem but in the first place a question of getting your career on the good track (e.g.wide body exp or upgrade) and working for a healthy company with a future plan

you are correct..only TNE was converted in China
recent 737 were converted in Israel and one in Johannesburg

concerning TNT sending aircraft to china
2 aircraft were converted from pax to freighter in China
scheduled maintenance is done by KLM in Amsterdam

be happy you had a safety minded crew
I am sure SNBA and any other airline have these non normals once in a while..

OO-TNE is a full pax aircraft and will change to QC at the end of the

While a lot of companies order new aircraft , SNBA & VEX are even struggling to continue with their current fleet

a) B767 leased during april-may-june 06
b) avro/330 fleet continues for another 6 years before renewal...

I flew the old but now best looking VEX plane to brussels this morning!
Furthermore, OO-VEX will leave SN Technics hangar in two weeks from now with its brand new winglets

About Sn flying VEX flights,at the end of November 2 B737-300 of VEX will be in maintenance
As all 10 aircraft are fully operated for the current VEX schedule;
A319 SN will be needed to operate some of VEX flights which are most of the time loaded with + 100 pax..
