Fokker Revamp

On the Holland Herald (March issue) Klm stated there is a refitting of the entire Fokker 100 fleet (Carpet, interior..)

So, does it mean... They will keep the plane for another while..

SAS security

I donno the details, but is not acceptable!

We rightly must pretend proper complete maintenance from the carriers.

Is SAS from a poor country ? is a LCC ? even they receive checks and if not fit they get a ban.

Someone told me maintenance is the most critical part of running a plane, not the age ...

Klm Uk

Tnx hourse..

Put it this way... they tried a LCC, with Buzz, they didn't have it right and eventually they sold it...(to FR) probably to stop the emorragy of money they were having...

Someone else sold it's own as well, and made good money (read BA's GO to EZ)...

Now others are thinking to have a ...

I read Bae are quite expensive to run, in terms of fuel consumption, so that is why ryan got rid of...

And at Buzz time oil was cheaper...

Also having different types in the fleet is not their goal.

Alitalia intersted in buying Volare ?!

How come ?

Volare in under administration and AZ is flying just 'cause of the new money they just got with the emission of new stakes...

How can they afford to buy another airline ?

Volare itself is doing quite ok, recovering and flying only A320.

I agree about the long runner B777, maybe airbus has something there to show one day unexpected...

Every plane has its unique niche that sometimes is perfect for just few customers, maybe ...

A350 is the response of Airbus at the 787...

787 was in fact the reaction of Boeing to the A330.. partially..
..and A350 is gonna replace the A330 in the long term.. 'parently..

Faster... Cheaper

Donno if is faster, for sure is cheaper..

Like Henry Ford said what is not there cannot be broken.. Ryan use built in stair for the front, so the need less service from airport.. and is faster..

I still don't like saving everything policy of LCC...
