Re: BEst airline schedules website / software ?
Thank you all for your kind answers.
KVS seems great, but I am not willing to spend any money ... so I will just stick to amadeus.net tool. As for flighstats, it may work for some routes/airlines but it seems not for my home airport, nor other searches I have tried.

Re: The most hated airports in the world: 1. CDG 2. LAX 3. L
I have been to TGU in the late 80's and early 90's. It was certainly not "world-class", specially for incoming pax, but also definitvely not horrid. 3rd world (ish) yes, but not nightmarish.

kvstool looks great, but the login details and the website is horrible. I understood there is a "free" option using your Flightstats login info, right ?

BEst airline schedules website / software ?
I would like to know which website do you use if you want to check airline schedules. There are, of course, many websites around, but most if not all of them are booking systems. Often they are designed to provide you the cheapest option between point A and B, and are not intended to provide you a ...

Intercontinental flights from LUX in the past ...why ?
I have noticed than in the 70's and 80's a number of airlines used Luxembourg as a starting point in central Europe for intercontinental flights.
International air bahama for instance, flew between Nassau and Luxembourg (!)

Re: Iberia - Cultural experience with the website
PT,Brasil and half of Africa are Portuguese speaking countries, it is not some secondary language.
So what ?
btw, i live in Galicia, so Portuguese is a bit like my second language because it is the same as Galician, so again ... what is your point ? Where is the "cultural experience" ? And if ...

Re: Iberia - Cultural experience with the website
Well ... I was thinking it would be more a "culture crash" rather than "someone at Iberia should review their geography lessons " It seems on the Spanish version of the website things are just as they should be. -- "Africa y oriente medio" so no mistake

Airline timetables in PDF format
Hi all,
I've been collecting airline timetables for many years. More recently I have stopped down for a number of reasons: firstly, because of lack of storage space :D but also because most airlines, as we all know, won't publish paper timetables any more, at least in Europe and most of the ...

Re: Sabena and KLM helicopters
Thanks guys, very interesting answers ! it is pitty that this network is no longer in service, I guess inside Belgium road/rail posed enough competition and for international traffic, pax prefered the confort of planes ... but still, landing in the very city centre is a big plus !

Sabena and KLM helicopters
Hi,
I've seen pictures and some memorabilia in the net about the helicopter divisions of KLM and Sabena. I think KLM helicopters did chiefly oil ring workers transportation, and aerial photographs, am I right ?
What about Sabena? I've seen some large helicopters depicted and I think they might ...

Hi
I am just curious about which airlines do operate scheduled flights with helicopters. So far, the ones I know of are:
in Europe :
Helisureste (doing the Ceuta <> Málaga leg in Spain)
Alidaunia in Italy
Heli Air Monaco
Former operators are Eurocopter (their Helsinki <> Tallin route is ...

SN and TV ?
Hi
I wonder what the exact relationship between Sn and TV is right now ? In the past they did codeshare , are they still doing so ? It does not make much sense to me, since SN has great cabin service (I reckon it is by far one of the best European carriers nowadays) while TV is a LCC.
