a budget airline flying old aircrafts... a bit dodgy... especially when the 744s that SIA currently are using are already obviously old...

Atleast Jetstar is going to use brand new 787's for its long haul operations.

I think that they will have much better luck with desitinations such as Zurich ...

I nominate South African and JNB Int'l to be the worst in regards to luggage lost it transit.
It has happened twice (both directions) PER-JNB-FRA (vv)...I'll be sticking to Singapore next time

It will be so good when/if Qantas gets the 777-200LR because it can do Perth-London in both directions cutting out the irritating stops in Singapore

There is also Qantas's Australian Airlines which offers an all ecconomy service similar to the ecconomy class offered by most full cost airlines (older entertainment system). I have personally flown Australian Airlines and the flight was fine (If you can handle not having AVOD).
