But why is this type of aircraft still not flying for a private (cargo) operator?
maybe the fact that the operational costs are to high??? Same counts for the C-130, if I'm not wrong, HeavyLift used one, but the costs were to high... (correct me if I' wrong  )

most logic would be OneWorld, but how logic will they be? What are the conditions of all the different alliances? For us "outsiders" OneWorld is the most logic solution, but is it really the most logic one? But I do agree that OneWorld need a stronger presence in the center of mainl...

I have already one in my collection 8) 8) 8) Herpa had already planned to produce one, as discussed in this topic . Thet has released it as a limited edition for the Herpa WingsClub-members, so maybe it will become a real collectors item, but therefore the price at Aviation Center will also be high....

that's also my guess... Cargo, and nothing else for the Belgian airports... (or maybe a diversion some day...) I think it will be the only opportunity to see a A380 in Belgium, and that will be with an cargo-operator... Is there any chance that Singapore Airlines will purchase some A380 freighters? ...

Maybe something to do at the 'Hannover Messe' ? They often host industrial fairs, and 1 day charters are sometimes organised. Can be that... at his time there is a trade fair about process automation (Interkama+2004), so maybe that's the destination of XLA4266... [edit] sorry, wrong answer... that ...

BRU - VIE - JFK with Austrian MD-83(?) and A310. That was my first flight ever (beside that flight with SN from Antwerp to Brussels when I was 12...), and from that moment on I was facinated by planes...
