On 2 October, a Fiat collided with the left engine of an Eurowings Airbus A320 (OE-IEW) at the airport of Heraklion. The aircraft was operating flights EW1808 and EW1809 between Munich, Germany and the Greek island. The aircraft returned to Munich with a delay of nearly four hours and 30 minutes.
