First customer representatives from China Eastern Airlines, SPDB Financial Leasing Co., Ltd., China Aircraft Leasing Co., Ltd. and YanShang Corporation rode on ARJ21-700 AC105 to experience the course demonstration flight in Shanghai on April 2nd, 2015. Representatives from Shanghai Municipal Economic and Informatization Commission, People’s Government of Pudong New Area, People’s Government of Zhuqiao Town, East China Regional Air Traffic Management Bureau of CAAC, CAAC East China Regional Administration, Shanghai Airport Authority, Shanghai International Airport Co., Ltd., Shanghai Meteorological Bureau and some media experienced this flight.
ARJ21-700 aircraft took off from Shanghai Pudong International Airport at about 10:00 a.m., and successfully returned after a flight of 1 hour. This is the first time for ARJ21-700 aircraft to carry customers to conduct the experience flight. As an important component of the course demonstration flight, the experience of customers and passengers is favorable for the customers and passengers to further learn the performance of ARJ21-700 aircraft, thereby making preparations for formal delivery and operation and laying a foundation for subsequent market development. According to schedule, ARJ21-700 aircraft will conduct demonstration flight and showcase at some domestic airports in the future, and will invite representatives from some customers, local governments and media to experience the flight.
ARJ21-700 aircraft started the course demonstration flight on March 16th, and had conducted demonstration flight on the courses among Shanghai, Tianjin, Nantong and Kunshan, with the aims of comprehensively verifying the operation capability of ARJ21-700 aircraft as well as the applicability, accuracy and integrity of the aircraft maintenance manual, flight manual and training manual, inspecting the operation supporting system of Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC), accelerating the construction of the flight test security management system and promoting the flight and support competency of COMAC Flight Test Center. At the same time, the course demonstration flight and showcase were helpful for the public to further learn and understand the China-made ARJ21 aircraft.
