Sabena's 707 back to life!

Post by Vesalius »

Hello All,

I donno if you guys know Captain Sim? well they've released a marvelous B707-300 with multiple variants:

- 320C(argo)
- 320B
- 320Adv
- VC-137C (aka Air Force One!)
- E-3A (aka NATO's Awacks)

Well for that particular model (707-300Cargo) I've repainted the Sabena OO-SJL colors. For those who are interestd, the repaints are totally free, you must just own Captain Sim's 707.

I can assure you that it's worth the money! Really is.

The textures can be found on Avsim.com :

Here are 2 pictures of her:

Oh my eyes! Sad to see Sabena's very first 707 in such a state. Thanks for the picture of OO-SJA Bottie!

But there are some difference between OO-SJA and OO-SJL. SJL is a 329C model, Cargo. Where as SJA wasn't. Note the missing cargo door and the real funny plate under her ass.

If someone could tell me a bit more... always welcome.

Oh and I've also finished OO-VAS in Sobelair 's colors for the PMDG 737-800. If someone is interested... Should I open a new topic for this?

That's a beautiful model, a pity it's not available to the members of Sabena VA.

Those Sobelair models are beauties 8O

Is there a Sobelair VA? I know about Sabena and SNBA VA because I am a member.

Thanks Vital for agreeing to post the 707 on the Sabena VA site. That would make a nice addition to my collection, as I don't have a 707 of any kind.

Hey Johan,

The sounds of such a 707 are marvelous! The panel is very detailed and so is the Virtual Cockpit. All the extra liveries are for free (euhhum... PSS?)...

I do not buy commercial add ons... But this together with the PMDG B737 is worth every Euro!

Hope I've helped you make a decission

and if you wish to see a (fictional) Virgin Express 737-600...
