Who says Brussels Airlines is losing money? The first quarter was negative, but last time I saw Christina Foerster, she said she hoped to end the year with black figures.
On the other hand, Eurowings expects a negative EBIT of -4% to -6%.
And what about cargo?
The 'new' planes used long-haul can take more cargo ,I understand
More A-320's
More flights.
I would expect this leads to more cargo and more revenue from cargo operations aswell...
Or is the SN-cargo going through Frankfurt these days and is the profit taken in Germany similar to the SR-days when a major part was routed through ZRH?
Thank you very much for these figures! The performance of the long haul sector is impressive and makes me wonder : does it include the DUS ops for EW or only the SN ops @ BRU ?
Also : Will they soon publish the SN figures among the network airlines of the LH Group?
Now that the airport has published its monthly figures, let's calculate Brussels Airlines' market share:
For June 2019 it stood at 40,33%, vs. 39,95% for the same period last year.

It does not include EW flights.
It will be sometime before SN will be formally moved from P2P to Network Airlines, as that is a decision that needs to be confirmed by the Supervisory Board.

Thank you! SN market share @ BRU is growing slowly but surely... still 10 points to reach the 50% mark!

Don't look for the SN figures, they are again buried under the Eurowings figures. A divorce is a long procedure! Let's hope that next year SN will publish its own statistics again, just like Swiss and Austrian.
The SN figures for November are still compounded with those of Eurowings. In November, Eurowings (including Brussels Airlines) reported a sharp drop of 7% of its passenger traffic compared to the previous year.

The figure was published in March: 10.2 million passengers (+1.7% compared to 2018).
